Supplier fees cover the operational costs of administering the system.
*Non-UK suppliers based in EU countries must have provided a valid non-UK EU VAT number, otherwise the VAT-inclusive fee will apply.
From 3rd December 2025, the JOSCAR fee model is changing. There will be an increase in the Stage 2 qualification subscription.
We have considered several factors, including the increased costs of maintaining and enhancing our platform to better serve you. The fee for suppliers has remained the same since 2022, and this fee increase will enable us to invest in new technologies, improve our services, and ensure compliance with the latest industry standards.
Payment Details
To avoid any delays in processing your Stage 2 application please check that the amount paid matches the amount that is notified to you by email once Stage 1 has been completed, including VAT at the prevailing rate for UK suppliers.
Upon receipt of payment a VAT invoice will be emailed to the person registered as the primary contact in Stage 1. Your Stage 1 application, including acceptance of our terms and conditions, must be complete before we can process your Stage 2 application.
Credit or Debit Card
The fastest way to make payment is via the JOSCAR questionnaire application – just click the ‘Payment’ button on your supplier dashboard after you log in. Payments may be made by Visa, Mastercard or Amex. Online payment transactions are processed securely through Sage Pay and Hellios does not store any card details.
Bank Transfer
Payment may be made by BACS/CHAPS.
Please ensure that you include your Unique ID in your payment reference to avoid any delay to identifying and processing your payment.
