AEUK Building at Winfrith

Atlas ELEKTRONIK UK Ltd joins JOSCAR Zero to take next step in sustainability journey

ATLAS ELEKTRONIK UK Ltd (AEUK), a leading innovative maritime systems company, is delighted to announce its membership of JOSCAR Zero, a pioneering decarbonisation programme by Hellios Information.

This strategic collaboration reflects AEUK's commitment to environmental responsibility and its determination to achieve net-zero emissions by 2045.

JOSCAR Zero collects, measures, and identifies how carbon emissions can be reduced across supply chains. This initiative empowers companies to systematically reduce their carbon footprint, implement sustainable practices, and work towards net-zero carbon operations.

AEUK recognises the need for a collaborative approach to address climate change and therefore the value added by JOSCAR’s community model:
“We are delighted to take this important next step on our sustainability journey and to be working with Hellios and our peers to further develop JOSCAR Zero," said Gary Little, Business Partner – Supply Chain, at ATLAS ELEKTRONIK UK Ltd.

Colin Maund, CEO of Hellios Information, commended AEUK's commitment, stating:
“We’re thrilled to have AEUK join a growing community of JOSCAR Zero buyers, which already includes BAE Systems, Babcock International and Roke Manor Research. Collaboration is key to reducing emissions on a large scale.

JOSCAR Zero’s impact and the benefits for suppliers and SMEs in particular, only increases as the community grows. By offering tailored carbon action plans and training to support suppliers, JOSCAR Zero members are driving real change.”

Sustainability is an integral part of AEUK’s strategy and JOSCAR Zero will complement its commitment to creating long-term value with innovative products, technologies and services which contribute to a better life for future generations.
