Shawbrook Bank PLC, joins Hellios Information’s supplier qualification system FSQS

Shawbrook is a specialist UK savings and lending bank founded in 2011 to serve the needs of SMEs and individuals in the UK with a range of lending and saving products. At 31 December 2016 our total lending reached £4.1 billion and we have now raised more than £3.9 billion in deposits since our launch. Shawbrook completed its successful IPO and listed on the London Stock Exchange in April 2015 (LSE:SHAW)

Shawbrook Bank is implementing the industry register FSQS as their new supply chain accreditation system.  The use of FSQS will ensure a consistent and standardised approach to qualification and compliance of their suppliers. The FSQS process eliminates cost for both sides of industry.  Shawbrook Bank are the 4th Bank to join the scheme. Suppliers to Shawbrook Bank are being asked to complete a standardised pre-qualification questionnaire and assessment process.  Hosted by Hellios Information, information is held in a centralised database.

Shawbrook’s Head of Procurement, Jonathan Hughes, said “ Joining the FSQS community will enable Shawbrook to continue its commitment to conducting business responsibly. FSQS will form an integral part of the procurement process enabling Shawbrook to work more effectively with its suppliers to minimise risk and protect customers”.

Hellios Information’s Managing Director Philip Foster said “ We are delighted that Shawbrook Bank PLC has become the latest bank to join the  community, which now has over 3,000 suppliers registered.  Joining FSQS will enable Shawbrook Bank and their suppliers to reduce the resource effort and costs associated with procurement, and compliance activities”
